Lay-Led Ministries are ministries led by members of the church body.

BETTER TOGETHER: a ladies mentoring ministry

Experience joy and growth in your Christian life by participating in one-on-one friendships centered around learning the Word of God. This lay-led ministry will involve a mentor and mentee meeting to study and grow in God’s Word together.

Better Together Commitment:
Each session will be a 6-month commitment - meeting together twice a month and keeping in touch the other weeks. Better Together has a session currently underway, but come back here to sign-up for the next!

BIBLE QUIZZING

Are you wanting to study the Bible as a family? Consider Bible Quizzing! It's a fun, interactive way to grow in grace and knowledge. Study together and then cheer on or coach your student's quiz team as they quiz kids from other churches/schools. For students K-12. This year Bible Quizzing is studying Matthew 1-16 and the book of Jonah. If you’re interested in joining Bible Quizzing, please email Shari Deardorff.

FBC ladies mingle

Once each season, women of all ages gather for a night to connect, laugh, and be encouraged. It’s a chance to catch up with old friends, meet someone new, and enjoy an evening that’s all about community. Every event includes something special—whether it’s a guest speaker, fun entertainment, or both. Bring a friend (or two!) and come be part of a night set aside just for women to share life together.

trail life

Trail Life offers boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade the chance to experience outdoor adventures in a troop setting while growing through biblically based discipleship. The program focuses on building character and leadership skills that last a lifetime. Trail Life meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 6–8 pm in the Loft.

Singles Together

Singles Together is a group for FBC attendees from age 40 to 80 who are without partners regardless of the reason. We get together for fellowship, companionship, service, and FUN!

Deaf Ministry

This ministry ensures that an interpreter for the deaf is available during our second service each week (11:00 am). It's a huge blessing to have the lyrics to our worship songs and weekly sermon interpreted for those in our congregation who are deaf or hard of hearing.

WOODLAND TRAILS summer PREDICTION RUNS

Located on FBC’s Woodland Trails, the Summer Prediction Runs include weekly 3K and 5K races on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm. Runners predict the time they believe it will take them to complete either the 3K or 5K race, and the winners are determined by how close participants come to their predicted time!
