WORSHIP CHOIR

EASTER SUNDAY | April 20, 2025

Help us assemble a worship choir for the most celebratory Sunday of the whole year! If you love to worship the Lord in song, join us in leading our congregation in praise during this year's three Easter Sunday services! Offering three Easter services is a historical first for FBC, and we’d love for you to be part of that. Sign up today to reserve your spot on the risers! (Ages: high school students and above)

Commitment Involves:

  • Independently learning your vocal part using sheet music and audio recordings we will provide

  • Attending three rehearsals:

    • Tuesday, April 8th (6:30pm - 7:30pm) at FBC

    • Tuesday, April 15th (6:30pm - 7:30pm) at FBC

    • Saturday, April 19th (6:30pm - 8:30pm) at FBC

  • Leading our congregation in exuberant praise during our three Easter services on Sunday, April 20th (7:00am - 12:00pm time commitment)

    • First Service: 8:30am - 9:30am

    • Second Service: 10:00am - 11:00am

    • Third Service: 11:30am - 12:30pm

Please note:

  • Portions of the first three songs will be combined in a powerful medley to open each service. We’ve included a chord chart to show the sequence of that medley. In the lead sheets for these first 3 songs, you’ll find the portions we will sing highlighted in orange.

  • We aren’t able to offer a lead sheet for “Long Live the King”. Our focus for this song as a choir will be the chorus only; please do your best to learn the melody based on the recording. Thank you!

FAQ:

  • I can’t make it for the rehearsals. Can I still sing on Sunday?
    In order to set everyone up for success, we ask that you attend all 3 rehearsals to participate in the choir on Easter Sunday.

  • Can I sing in the choir during one or two services, but not all 3?
    In order to participate, we ask that you’re available for the worship portion of all three services.
