Weekend of Jan. 23-25, 2015
PRAYER PROMISE: II Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Please pray for our services on Sunday and for those who will teach the Word of God and lead us in worship.
Be in prayer for wisdom and unity for our elders and deacons as they meet all day on Saturday to plan for this year and seek God’s direction for the ministries of FBC.
Continue to set aside times of personal prayer and be involved in group meetings, if possible, as “ReVive Indiana” continues for the next several weeks. Pray for those who will be involved in training people to share the Gospel and for the teams as they go out.
Tony Woods and his family need our prayers as his mother’s health is failing following a stroke last week. Pray for wisdom as they meet with Hospice regarding her care.
The Vissers, our missionaries in France, have requested that we pray for one of their former students who is pastoring in Niger. The Muslim population there is demanding that the President apologize for the cartoons depicting Mohammad or they will attack Christians beginning this Friday. Please pray for safety for believers around the world who are suffering because of this situation.
Our military personnel to pray for are Aaron Palmer (Army-NC) and Zachariah Vail (Navy-At Sea).
Our shut-ins to remember in prayer are Mary B. and Lewis & Phyllis B.
