Weekend August 1-3, 2014
PRAYER PROMISE: Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Be sure to pray for our services on Saturday & Sunday. Pray for Pastor Byars as he continues the series on the Ten Commandments. Also pray for the many volunteers who will be working in various areas of ministry.
Gary & Joyce Rheinheimer are asking for prayer for their grandson, Logan Andrew Franko, born to their daughter Susan and her husband Tom on Monday. Logan was born 7 weeks premature and is very small, but healthy. Pray that he continues to remain healthy as he stays in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the next few weeks. Pray also for Susan as she recovers.
Deb Johnston’s brother, Jim Bickels, had an MRI and they found that the infection is in the brain as well as the lining and heart valve. A heart valve replacement will probably need to be done in the near future. Jim is quite anxious about this and is asking for prayer. Please pray for Jim’s salvation as well as his health.
Continue to pray for the Youth and their leaders who are finishing up their Wilderness trip in Canada. Pray for safety for them as they head home.
Our military personnel to pray for are Aaron Palmer (Army-NC) and Ethan Grubert (Air Force, TX)
Our shut-ins to remember in prayer today are Shirley W. & Dorothy B.
